Improving Human Health and Quality of Life

WHX Johannesburg 2026 Successfully Concludes | Advancing Innovation Across Africa

On October 8, 2026, the three-day WHX Johannesburg 2026 successfully concluded in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, medical institutions, distributors, and industry partners from across Africa and around the world to explore developments in medical technology, clinical applications, and regional cooperation.

Surgsci Medical Ltd. presented a range of innovative products in minimally invasive surgery and urology, highlighting its latest developments in surgical instruments, surgical consumables, and urology solutions.

Connecting with Africa’s Healthcare Community

WHX Johannesburg serves as an important platform connecting healthcare professionals and industry resources across Africa. It provides opportunities for medical technology companies, clinical professionals, and regional partners to exchange insights, showcase products, and explore future cooperation.

Throughout the event, the Surgsci booth welcomed healthcare professionals, distributors, and industry representatives from different countries and regions. Visitors learned more about our products and exchanged perspectives with the Surgsci team on clinical applications, regional market needs, and potential cooperation.

Our participation in Johannesburg allowed Surgsci to establish new connections with healthcare partners across Africa and opened further possibilities for continued communication and collaboration.

A Diverse Portfolio of Innovative Solutions

At WHX Johannesburg 2026, Surgsci presented representative products across two key areas: minimally invasive surgery and urology.

In minimally invasive surgery, the featured portfolio included the 2-in-1 Surgical Energy Platform, integrated and detachable ultrasonic scalpels, the Balloonpass™ Balloon Trocar, and the Locksure® Absorbable Barbed Suture.

Together, these products demonstrated Surgsci’s expanding capabilities across surgical energy, minimally invasive access, surgical instruments, and consumables.

In urology, the MimoPath™ Covered Ureteral Stent and NanoPath™ Temperature-Controlled Ureteral Stent highlighted Surgsci’s continued exploration of solutions for ureteral stricture management and urological intervention.

From surgical energy systems and minimally invasive instruments to surgical consumables and urology products, the diverse portfolio attracted strong interest from professional visitors throughout the exhibition.

Valuable Insights Through Face-to-Face Communication

Beyond product presentation, direct communication with healthcare and industry professionals was one of the most valuable aspects of the event.

The Surgsci team introduced the design, technical features, and potential applications of the featured products in relation to different clinical scenarios. Visitors also shared their perspectives on product selection, user experience, regulatory requirements, and local support based on the clinical practices and market conditions in their respective regions.

Healthcare resources, clinical needs, and stages of market development vary across African countries and regions. The professional feedback received during the exhibition helped us better understand these differences and provided valuable references for future product optimization, localized support, and market development.

Communication allows products to be seen and real needs to be heard. By staying close to clinical practice and listening to local markets, innovation can be transformed into products and solutions with greater practical value.

Advancing Innovation Across Africa

Although WHX Johannesburg 2026 has concluded, the connections established between Surgsci and healthcare partners across Africa will continue.

Building on the conversations and insights gained in Johannesburg, Surgsci will continue to follow its mission of “Improving Human Health and Quality of Life.” Guided by clinical needs, we remain committed to technological innovation, product development, and international cooperation.

We look forward to bringing more clinically valuable products and solutions to healthcare professionals in different countries and regions.

Our sincere thanks go to every healthcare professional, customer, distributor, and partner who visited the Surgsci booth. We look forward to meeting again and moving forward together.
