Surgsci Concludes Two Exhibitions in the Philippines and Japan, Connecting with Asia’s Clinical Community

On September 5, 2026, the 23rd Urological Association of Asia Congress (UAA Congress 2026) and JSES 2026 × WCES 2026 successfully concluded in Manila, the Philippines, and Yokohama, Japan.

Bringing together clinical experts, healthcare professionals, and industry partners from across Asia and beyond, the two events focused respectively on urology and endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.

Surgsci Medical participated in both exhibitions, presenting its latest solutions across urology, surgical energy, minimally invasive surgical access, and tissue closure. Through face-to-face discussions, our teams exchanged perspectives with visitors on clinical needs, product applications, technological development, and future collaboration.

Two Exhibitions, Two Specialized Fields

UAA Congress 2026 provided an important platform for discussing developments in urological practice, while JSES 2026 × WCES 2026 brought together professionals in endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.

Although the two exhibitions focused on different clinical specialties, they shared a common emphasis on innovation, practical clinical value, and international cooperation.

In Manila, the Surgsci team presented a portfolio of urology solutions centered on ureteral stricture management and endourological procedures.

In Yokohama, the team showcased products for minimally invasive surgery, with a focus on surgical energy, access, and tissue closure.

Advancing Urology Solutions in Manila

As a major academic and professional event in Asian urology, UAA Congress 2026 created valuable opportunities for clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to exchange knowledge and explore emerging approaches in urological care.

Among Surgsci’s featured products, the Ureteral Covered Stent System and Ureteral Stent System attracted particular attention from visitors. Discussions focused on product design, placement procedures, potential clinical applications, and the practical requirements involved in ureteral stricture management.

These conversations offered valuable insights into the needs of different markets and clinical environments, providing useful perspectives for continued product development and international collaboration.

Surgsci also presented its Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope, Electronic Endoscope Image Processor, and a range of supporting urological devices, reflecting the company’s broader portfolio for endourological diagnosis and treatment.

Exploring Minimally Invasive Surgery in Yokohama

Held concurrently in Yokohama, JSES 2026 × WCES 2026 focused on the continued development of endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, bringing together surgeons and medical professionals from around the world.

Surgsci highlighted its Ultrasonic and High-Frequency Integrated Surgical Energy Platform, together with products such as disposable laparoscopic trocars and absorbable surgical sutures. The portfolio represented the company’s ongoing development across surgical energy, minimally invasive access, and tissue closure.

Throughout the exhibition, clinical experts and industry partners visited the Surgsci stand to learn more about the products and exchange views on functionality, handling, procedural applications, and evolving clinical expectations.

The event provided an opportunity to better understand the priorities of the Japanese and international surgical communities, particularly their focus on precise instrumentation, intuitive operation, and coordinated performance across different stages of a procedure.

Bringing Innovation Closer to Clinical Needs

From urological care to endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, both exhibitions reflected the importance of developing medical technologies around real clinical needs.

During the events, Surgsci engaged with clinicians, healthcare institutions, distributors, and industry partners from different countries and regions. Their professional feedback deepened our understanding of local clinical practices, user expectations, and market environments.

Each discussion creates a direct connection between product development and clinical practice. These insights will continue to support Surgsci in refining its technologies, expanding its product portfolio, and strengthening cooperation with partners worldwide.

Moving Forward with Global Partners

Although the exhibitions in Manila and Yokohama have concluded, Surgsci’s dialogue with the global medical community continues.

Guided by our mission of “Improving Human Health and Quality of Life,” Surgsci will remain committed to clinical needs and continue advancing innovation in urology, minimally invasive surgical devices, and surgical energy technologies.

We sincerely thank every clinical expert, customer, and partner who met with us during the two exhibitions. We look forward to reconnecting and exploring new possibilities in urology and minimally invasive surgery together.
